Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

This prayer for the joy of Christmas reading from the New Testament, Luke chapter two beginning at verse one, and it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augusta that all the world should be taxed and having tax was first made by Cerenia the governor's school. And all went to be taxed every one into his own city.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem because he was the house and lineage of David to be taxed with Mary, his expound wife. Being great with child. And so it was that while they were there, that the days were accomplished, that she should be delivered and she brought forth her firstborn son wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the end.

And there were in the same country, shepherds abiding in the field. Keeping watch over their flock. They at night and lo the angel of the Lord came upon them and the glory of God, Sean, around about him. And they were so afraid. And Saint Joel said unto them fear, not for behold. I bring you good tidings of great joy.

Which shall be to all people born unto you is born this day in the city of David, which is Christ the Lord a savior. And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angels, a multitude of heavenly host, praising God and saying glory, beat God in the highest owner of peace Goodwill to watch all man, father God in the name of Jesus.

We thank you for the spirit of Christmas. We thank you, God, for sending your son. That we may have hope and eternal life. We thank you for the joy of Christmas. We thank you for the peace of Christmas in a name of a Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And so we celebrate the birth. Oh God. Thank you of our savior.

And we also celebrate our soon-coming king. And we give you glory. We give you praise that the spirit of Christmas would be shed abroad in our hearts and our minds and our relationships. God, in a name of Jesus, we thank you for reconciliation. That Jesus came, but your word says it was God in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.

So Christmas means harmony and fellowship and peace with God, but it also means harmony and fellowship and peace with our brothers and sisters. We asked that your peace would abide inn our hearts., We ask that we would experience and discover the goodwill the blessings that you have for us, we give you glory.

We give you praise that your plan is perfect for our lives and that you are concerned about us and that you love us. Thank you for this Christmas morning, we celebrate. Christ in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father God in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and I give you praise. And I thank you for the abundant plan that you have for us. Your plan is to bless us. Your plan is sufficient grace for us in everything. And I thank you for that. That we have come to the realization that you love us and that you have a great plan for each of us. So according to your word in John 10 and 10, you said the thief cometh not but to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus, you are calm that I may have life. And I may have it to the fullest measure.

So your plan from me is that I live to the fullest measure and abundant life. There's only, you're able to provide in Jesus' name. That we will flourish in the things of God. And I pray for the grace today that we would understand the abundant life.

That you have for each and every one of us. And we will begin to move in the direction. Glory, be the God. Of the abundance in your direction. We're turning our hearts and our minds towards you. For you're the giver of all things and you're the giver of life. And you're good to give her those things that are meaningful in life.

Therefore we say, we believe you. You, that your will is perfect. Your way is the best way. And it's in the name of Jesus we decree and declare the perfect will of God over our life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you honor, and we give you praise and we worship your holy name. We desire the good things and the will of God to be done in our lives. And so God, we ask that you would bless us.

To understand, to recognize, and to put into effect the things that you have called us to do. And God, we know that those things will not be done except they are prayed. For your word, instructs us, that the will of God must be prayed in your forever. For you said when we pray, pray our father, which art in heaven, hallowed be they name. Thy kingdom comes, thy will be done on the earth as it's done in heaven.

And so God, we recognize from that truth that your will must be prayed into the earth rim. And God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you would teach us how to pray your will for our lives. Your will for the lives of our children. Your will, for the lives of our acquaintances, our family members in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We submit to your will. We submit to your way, and we say, have your way in us. In Jesus' name, your will be done. The good, the perfect plan that you have for us. Comes from above. We submit to the will and the plan of God for our lives in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father God. In the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you honor, and we praise your holy name. And God, according to your word in third, John verse two, your word says that you would above all things that we would prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers.

So, God, your word is true. You desire for us. First of all, to be. I relationship with you. You call us you're beloved. We are the children of the highest God. So God, in the name of Jesus, I ask that we would begin to prosper in the things of God. Just not monetary things, God, but in every area of our lives, in all of our relationships, in all of our dealings, in everything that makes up who we are, our prayer that we would begin to prosper and that we will begin to see an increase in those things in Jesus name. For your glory then you said, God, that we would be in health. And our bodies receive help receiving healing from the diseases and the sicknesses that we have suffered, but not only in our health God but also healthy relationships in the name of Jesus.

We give you glory, we give you praise that we are experiencing health in every realm of our life. It is because of your grace and your mercy that has up on our lives. Glory be to God. That our soul, our prospering, our inner man is receiving strength. Our innermost being is receiving strength at the core of our being that it identifies who we are.

We are receiving strength to believe you, to trust you, and to declare your word over our lives. For this is the will of God that we prosper. Being held even as our souls prospers. And we thank you for the blessings of God, that makes it so rich and ask no sorrow in the name of Jesus. We pray. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise that you have a plan and a wheel for all of us. And God is that your plan is that each of us have and receives eternal life. Through our confession of faith. For your word says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. And God, we believe. And it's your will that we experience everlasting life. So we can confess with our mouth,. that you are the son of God. We will leave it in our heart that you raised Jesus from the dead, Therefore your will and your plan for us is that we are saved and that we have eternal life through your name. So we thank you, God. That as we discover more about your will that you would open up our hearts and our minds to what your word says . And the beautiful and blessings that you have for each of us. And a beautiful plan that you have for each of us and God, as we begin to leave the year of 2021. And we go into the year of 2022. I pray that each of us will have an understanding of your will and your plan for our lives and God that we will not only be hearers of the word, but we will be doers of your word and that plan, that goal and that dream that we have in our hearts will become the work of our hands.

You're able to strengthen us. You're able to empower us to do it. So we give you glory. We give you praise in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus. We thank you. And we praise you and we glorify your name. We thank you, God, that you have a will and a plan for all of our lives, and God, it is your wheel. That we experience every promise in structure and it is that your will must be prayed into the earth.

So, God, we thank you that your will is truth, and you have a particular desire and a plan for each of us. And because everything that you are is holy and good, then your will for us is that, which is holy and good. And God in the name of Jesus. We thank you that your will for us is that we be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and have authority.

According to your word in Genesis one in 28, just as you spoke your will over Adam and Eve from the beginning. You also speak to us that you have a plan for our lives. And we echo back your will and

As we prepare our hearts and our minds to remember the Christ child. We thank you, God, that you sent your only begotten son into the world, and through belief and confession of him, we have eternal life. We thank you, God. In the name of Jesus, that during this season, we will discipline our minds and our hearts to stay focused on what you've done for us. Thank you for the great gift of the Savior. Thank you that through him, we have peace on earth and goodwill towards all men.

We pray in the name of Jesus that this season would be a season of expression, love, caring, and healthy relationships. We give you glory and we give you praise for this season's Advent. The coming of the Messiah. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We thank you, God, that for this season of Thanksgiving, that our country has set aside a national day of thanks. And how thankful we are in our hearts and our minds for all of the things that you have blessed us with.

And we thank you, God, that your work commands us to give thanks in all things .For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning us. So we set our hearts and our minds in the posture of Thanksgiving. And we thank you for your many blessings upon our lives. We thank you for our relationships that we have with family and one another.

We thank you God, for all of the possibilities that we have to impact and change our world. We thank you God, in the name of Jesus that we live in a country of free speech. That we are able to express ourselves in our religion and our belief systems without the fear or repercussions. And oh what a great privilege it is to worship you in spirit and in truth.

And for that, we thank you. We give you glory. We give you praise. For the things that you're doing in our lives. Your hand has been great up on our lives and though we have gone through some difficult times this year. We set our hearts and our minds just to say, thank you .And God, not for those difficult times, but in everything.Glory be to God. we develop a mindset o f thanks. and we give you glory. We give you praise for the work that you're doing in our lives and the lives of our families. We thank you for healing us. We thank you for delivering us. We thank you for our peace. Most of all, we thank you that we have a relationship with you. And you're the one that shares our burdens and our cares.

You are the one that walks alone, a side of us. And even carry us when we need it. We thank you that we have a friend in Jesus who we can cast all of our cares upon. So we thank you for this season of Thanksgiving. And we thank you for the date set aside that we can have harmony and fellowship with our families and our friends.

And we can reminisce about your goodness and to say, thank you. We give you glory. We give you praise that you will set the tone in our gatherings. And that we would be free of stress and free of tension and worry. But our gatherings would just be family moments and special moments that we come together to give you thanks. And to enjoy one another's company. We give you glory. We give you praise. We're not going to think about the things that could happen or what even happened on years before, but we look for a new time. And we look for new level of communion with one another. And for that, we give you thanks. And we give you praise in Jesus' name.
