Father God in the name of Jesus. We give you glory, we give you honor, we give you praise. We're so thankful to have you in our lives. To be able to call you Lord. To be able to say you are our Savior. In fact, you are the savior of the world. We thank you that you are in our lives and you're directing our lives. And God, you are leading us in your direction for that we say, thank you. For that we say, blessed be, the name of the Lord.
Now, God, we come in prayer and ask that you would fill the empty spaces in our lives. God, that you would fill every void. The places of loss. The places of grief. God in the name of Jesus, all the areas in our lives, where we feel empty, null, and void. We pray that you would fill us with joy.
We pray that you would fill us with peace. We pray that you would fill us with rejoicing. Knowing that we have our savior on our side. We pray that you would fill us with your word. In a name of a Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And we pray, oh God, that you would fill us to the point of overflow. That our cup will run over in your love and your peace and ingratitude that so much so that it will spill over into the lives of others, in Jesus' name. Fill us with the hope that we may share it with others. Fill us with kind deeds that we may share with others in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We thank you that you are occupying all parts of our being and we are being made whole in your name. And we give you glory. We give you praise. In Jesus' name. Amen.

For you are the God, that was reconciling the world to you through Jesus Christ. Reconciliation is your wisdom. It is your wheel and it is your way. So therefore God, we pray for relationships that we would be healed and that our relationships will be reconciled. We pray that you would give us the strength to do the hard work of reconciliation in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that there may be unity and that there may be harmony in our homes. In Jesus' name, not only in a home God but at the national level, at the international level. I pray that the power of reconciliation in a name where Jesus would heal the divide in our country. Would heal the divide in our relationships. In Jesus' name and I thank you, God.
That it's not about who's right but it's about what's right. And we know that your way is right. Your word is right. So, therefore, God, I pray that we would become obedient to your word. And that we sought reconciliation, harmony, and peace. For all those that we need reconciliation with.
For it's in the name of Jesus and I pray that it will be done, the matter will be settled. And yes, God, it will be settled to your glory and to your peace. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This is a special edition of the two-minute prayer. This is the Christmas prayer. I will start reading from Luke chapter two, verses 1 to 14.
And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.
Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory and we give you praise. As we set our hearts to remember and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Truly, God, we thank you for a savior. We thank you, God, for how the Christ child came to bring newness of life. And we have received him into our hearts. We thank you, God, that the light shines in our hearts. And we give you glory. We give you praise. As we celebrate the birth of your Holy son. Thank you, God, for being in our lives. Thank you, God, that we are alive today. And we have the blessed assurance that you are on our side for not only are you our savior, but you are our Lord and we give you glory. We give you praise that you are blessing every circumstance and every situation in our lives. And you are bringing new hope. In Jesus' name. We give you praise for it. We thank you for the Christ child. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
