I almost forgot today was Saint Patrick's Day today. So guess what my dad and I talked about today? You guessed it, St. Patrick's Day!

As usual my dad has a little history lesson. We also delve into our family history/DNA. Yes, we are actually Irish. And a few other places too. Good old fashioned, 100% pure bred mutt! We hope you like it and keep on coming back.

Apologies for missing last week's episode. My father was a bit sick and I was coming off being sick. These things are harder to shake the older you get.

We had a lot to discuss since we didn't record an episode last week. Plus I have been to a lot of concerts these past few weeks with still more to come. Last night at the Pat Green concert, my wife meet the owner of Epic Western, an awesome cocktail in a can company. You should DEFINITELY give them a taste/try. Delicious!

Some days you have something to talk about, some days you don't. Today seemed like one of those days. But (in our opinion) it went better than expected and a lot easier than expected.

What are your thoughts? Did we do ok? This podcast is still kind of searching for it's identity and direction. More than just the father/son aspect of it. Maybe we need to go deeper into the relationship. What do you think?

Growing up - do you ever remember you're parent's telling you "we'll see" after you asked them for something or to do something"  I bet you that when they said it - it meant - NO.  Am I wrong?

Well, the weather outside was more than frightful - it was downright cold the week before last. So listen up 2 Old Farts fans - because you will hear all about the shenanigans that happened last weekend at the Country and Western show!

We met a lot of great people on the porch at Floores Country Store. It was cold but we had heaters and bourbon to keep us warm. All except for my mom's butt. But - get it - you will have to listen to it all to hear all about it.
