The 2 Ramblers look at the positives of a 50/50 week. First we review the 2pt loss to Rhode Island (79-77.) Then turn to the gutsy road win over the La Salle Explorers (76-73.) Looking ahead to our first A 10 tournament, we answer 3 important questions: Do we belong in the A 10? Is Drew the right coach? Does Loyola Twitter need some new burner accounts? All this and more on the #1 podcast in the Atlantic 10.
The 2 Ramblers are here to lighten your load as the season comes to a close. In this episode, we discuss how we beat ourselves in the Fordham game (71-69.) Then discuss the loss to St. Louis aka the Missouri Massacre (81-62.) Okay maybe it was not that bad. What stage of grief are we on now? Also on the show, we share the sight and sounds, give out a few awards, and are visited by the LU the Dark Lord. Still the #1 podcast in the Atlantic 10.
Join the 2 Ramblers as they break down this week's action live in Dobber's podcast studio. We discuss the road dog win against UMass (64-62.) Then turn to the disappointing Dayton game (65-49.) This game was Sammy's first game in Gentile Center since Bill Clinton was president. #90sCallback! He shares his sights and sounds of the game. We also give away some shoutouts, player awards, and have a frank talk about next year. Despite what the Dayton Flyer guy says... we are still the #1 Podcast in Atlantic 10.
What a week! The 2 Ramblers break down all the action. First the Braden Norris career-high game in the loss to St. Joe's and their annoying mascot. Then to the road game at Richmond where all the starters got double-digits but fall short in the final 2 mins. We give out some rare player awards for the Rambler losses and are a visited by LU the Dark Lord. #1 Podcast in the Atlantic 10.
2 Ramblers are riding high after a great week of Rambler basketball. In this episode, we break down our first A10 trip to Dayton which ended with a narrow loss in OT (85-81.) Good news: Sammy D was not forced to sleep on the couch by his wife who is a Dayton Alumna. We then turn our sites to the George Mason win at home (69-61) and the return of the Ramblers' signature defense. We openly question the foul gap present in the A10 games, give out some awards, and talk to our Wolfpack correspondent, Jimmy. What else would you expect from the #1 Podcast in the Atlantic 10?
The 2 Ramblers unpack the Ramblers' second-half collapse against the Duquesne Dukes (58-72.) The game included 7-minute scoring draught and the now infamous "Door Dash" prank. One highlight was Phil Alston, returning to Western Penn for the first time since his portal transfer, with a season-high 25 points. Also on the show, LU the Dark Lord was "lovin'" the second half and lets the 2 Ramblers know it.
In this episode, the 2 Ramblers celebrate the return of Big Hutty and our first A10 win over St. Bonaventure (67-55.) We also discuss the departure of Saint Thomas, "Wolfpack Jimmy" checks in, we break down the St. Louis game, and of course provide full coverage of the Bonnie Beat-down. What else would you expect from #1 Podcast in the Atlantic 10?
On this episode, the 2 Ramblers almost forget to talk about the A-10 losses to VCU and St. Joseph's. They're interrupted by a big fan, "Lu the Dark Lord." And Sammy D, ever the optimist, continues to look for the positives in this unexpected season. It's a lot of laughs. #1 Podcast in the Atlantic 10
After a rough conference start (0-3) the 2 Ramblers take a step back and look at the positives of this season. Yes there are positives!
In this episode, you'll learn about "The Gap and the Gain" when it comes to measuring success. Dobber shares 10 positives about our program and our current season.
