With his portfolio in hand, a young Anthony Williams would travel from Swansea to London to show his portfolio to editors - almost 40 years later and his artistic career has spanned licensed tie-ins such as The Real Ghostbusters, Supernaturals, and Action Force for Marvel UK, as well as Judge Dredd, Babe Race 2000, The VCs, Kola Commandos and Big Dave for 2000 AD, superheroes with 'The Big Two' in America, but then a pivot into using his experience of comics in the world of licensing and marketing. The Thrill-Cast talks to Anthony about his journey, which is one of an artist finding their place in a changing industry, putting food on the table while trying to establish his own reputation.
