Sirr interviews Kearria Freed, founder of Kearria Kares Foundation, survivor and soon to be a graduate of the University of South Alabama.
Kearria Freed was a victim of a shooting in which her right-temporal lobe was damaged. She had endured several hardships on her road to recovery. This did not defeat her though, as she had a support system in family. She is now actively advocating for resources for brain-trauma victims via her non-profit organization, Kearria Kares Foundation.
