In this episode, Todd speaks to Ironman Triathlon Athlete Amanda Kenny. This St Louis native and competitive gymnast left the cold weather after her 4-years at Missouri State where she earned a scholarship and cumulative a 4.0 GPA. Amanda was destined to live in a much warmer place than Missouri. Thankfully she got a job with Disney which allowed her to move to Orlando, Florida. While working at Disney World she got involved with the Disney Triathlon team

and started training for half marathon races. Eventually, she bought a bike and signed up for a triathlon. The only problem was she could not even swim one lap in a pool.  After doing some research on how to swim on YouTube and countless hours feeling like a fool in the pool she taught herself to swim and did her first triathlon in 2011.

The rest is history with more than 100 races under her belt, including numerous triathlons, half marathons, marathons including the 2021 Boston Marathon, 15 Ironman 70.3 races, 2 full Ironmans, and a bucket list of more races to do.
