Some people believe it is the basement or the attic that is the most haunted part of their house. They're dark and cold with low ceilings and weird angles. And they always seem to have old wooden staircases leading to them. But when I was a kid I found that its not the basement or attic you should fear. It's that empty third floor apartment.
