  • Robert Ramos of Mission Rosary
Mission Rosary looks to foster divine intimacy with our Creator. We believe developing a relationship with the Blessed Mother through the Rosary is essential to our relationship with God.
Like all good things, Mission Rosary began from the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Motivated by the stories of Catholic saints, honest and humble men and women called to serve a higher purpose. Mission Rosary is answering God’s call to bring the Rosary to those looking to deepen their prayer life.
Mission Rosary is dedicated to helping Catholics form a new sense of community that is independent of their locations. Allowing them to form an online congregation that cannot be taken from or broken, now and in times to come. Our hope is that through our daily Rosary app we help Catholics grow in faith and worship, to enrich their lives, and the lives of those around them by keeping with the daily Rosary.
St. Padre Pio said it best by saying, “Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the Rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.”

  • UnCounseling
Join Dr. Fred Boley, OP, Bearded Bryan, and mystery guest as they talk about the pitfalls and possibilities of counseling from a Catholic perspective. Tonight, Fred grumbles about a study that shows religious people are happier. What's wrong with that?? We also follow on from last week's discussion and talk more about the goals and aims of counseling. Most counseling has confused or mistaken aims because of confused and mistaken ideas about human nature and the professional identity of counseling.People are helped! (by accident). And the usual jibber jabber from mystery guest and Bryan. It's grumpy week! Check it out.

  • Un Counseling with Dr. Fred Boley, OP
The fact is, most counseling has the removal of symptoms as its goal. This is a good thing to do, but it distorts counseling, and is, in fact, the wrong goal. To understand why, you have to understand the history and philosophy of modern, professional counseling.
Dr Boley explains this and applies it to relationship counseling. Did you know that marriages that enter mariage counseling or statistically more likely to end in divorce? Here's why. And here's how to help your counselor help you to achieve really good goals in counseling.
Finally, after listening to some awesome (old) tunes together, Dr Boley and a special secret guest discuss self pity. What's the difference between self pity and sadness, or depression, or grief? What can you do to help yourself or others, if self pity is suspected?!

  • Tangled Mess with Deb Rojas
Welcome back to the Tangled Mess, a weekly attempt to untangle, with the asistance of Mary Undoer of Knots, the tangled messes we find—and sometimes create—in our own lives.
This week, Deb coerces Dr. Boley to do a role play, all in the good cause of showing a way to defuse marital conflict. Joking aside, it is really, really practical, not just for marriage, but for all human relationships.
We will also listen to some music and talk about Quasimodo Sunday. It is not about the book nor is it about the Disney movie, but it is a real thing from the rich tradition of the Church, and very interesting.
Finally, Deb and Dr. Boley are happy to take your questions and hear your comments.  Call in with your questions and comments on 515-602-9655.
