Whatever you may be going through, remember that no matter what God promises to always be with you. Hang on to that promise. Stand firm in it. His plan is perfect and His timing is perfect. Ecclesiastes 3: 11 reads "He has made everything beautiful in its time."

Do you remember the days of entertaining TV on the Discovery Channel or National Geographic being all about the Lion? Lions are animals that sneak around and prowl around just waiting for the right time to attack its next meal. Although most of us have never done battle with an actual lion or been attacked by one, scripturally we do battle with a lion every day as Peter in 1 Peter 5:8 compares Satan to a lion.

"Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."

Every day. Every hour. Every second...We do battle with a lion who is looking to devour ME. 

How do I fight away the temptation? How do I win the battle over satan? 

In Judges 14, a man named Samson is SUDDENLY ATTACKED by a lion. Your 44 in this episode is to KILL THE LION by...

Guess what??? School is back in session! Which means that those of you with kids have just entered back into the season of life we love...ABSOLUTE CHAOS! It is not just parents though as there are many times in everyones life where we know chaotic seasons of life are coming and right around the corner.

So what should we eat from God's word to put us at ease about these looming hectic seasons of our lives. We know they are coming. We usually know when they are and about what time of the year our scheduled is PACKED. So selfishly, where do I fit into the equation when we fall into seasons of life where it is all about them?

In this episode we will feast on something from the land of obscure. Right in the middle of a long list of ancestry in Genesis 36 we meet a man named Anah who discovered a hot spring while out grazing his donkeys in the desert. It seems out of place and obscure but provides for us a powerful lesson in the form of the unexpected blessings that God sends our way when we least expect it and are out "grazing donkeys". Your 44 in this episode is to...

1. Climb to the highest point and jump in swan dive style into those blessings that God gives us. Swim around a while. Don't forget to enjoy them!

In this episode we feast on "seeing the elephant" and use the story of Job and the things that he went through and the adversity he faced. Much like Job and the farmer in the elephant story, our cart gets wrecked, our horse spooks and our produce ruins, but can you say you saw the elephant? Can you say you saw God as Job says in 42:4 - "My ears had heard of you...but now my eyes have SEEN you."

In this episode we feast on what is one of the most comforting thoughts in all of scripture. As we do this thing called life, where do you look for the encouragement you need to keep going? There are many places in scripture that can provide us with the encouragement we need to keep pressing on but in this episode we look to the Cloud of Witnesses mentioned in Hebrews 12 and how there is comfort for us there.

In this episode we feast on what is one of the most challenging things both in our spiritual walk and physical life on this earth. It is WAITING. We will take in what God says in regards to not "being out front" with very real things that happen in our life and how instead we should learn that WAITING is doing something. 

1. Psalm 40 - David "WAITED patiently for the Lord to help him and He turned to him and heard his cry..."
2. John 14:13 - Jesus talking to his followers about "asking anything in my name"
3. James 5:7 - Be patient and WAIT on the Lord's return. "As a farmer waits for rain...wait on me"

Take courage for HE is coming back. Hang tight. Hold on. WAIT. Don't be out on your front foot. Keep knocking. Stay to the work and wait. Remember that WAITING is doing something!
