Waves
Many times we catch a wave of the spirit and we fail to catch the next wave of the spirit because we are looking for a wave that resembles the last wave we caught. Musical artists do it all the time which is why the artist has failed to release the sound of the Father in a consistent basis that creates atmospheres and a sustaining culture. Artist by trade release a sound, and if that particular sound (CD, EP) becomes popular with the public, garners respect and establishes income, the artist will look to duplicate that sound in their next CD release. They will look for similar music, similar styles. This is looking for the last wave while in deeper water, different water, and the voice of the Father is muffled by reasoning. You desire the popular vote instead of present truth so you try to duplicate the last move the last wave. But God is desiring a people in such positions to not be caught in the boundaries of genre, popularity, money making, styles and duplicating the last move. Pastors do this as well. Trying to duplicate the last great service. Trying to duplicate the last move or what another church is doing and thinking you can achieve the same success as the other church ministry. There is a remnant breaking forth in the earth that doesn’t want to be confined. Confined by the past move or wave that says this far and no more. Confined by yesterday’s implications and tomorrow’s boundaries to look like and sound like yesterday’s success. This remnant has stepped beyond the thinking of limitation and desires the voice of the Lord to guide and direct their paths, their achievements and even their day to day function. They want to flow in waters where new waves are rising and not be cemented into belief system that say duplicate the last move look for the last pitch or sound because they understand waves are new every morning.
