This year, the annual celebration of Europe's pop landscape that is the Eurovision song contest is taking place in the UK city of Liverpool, who are hosting on behalf of last year's winners Ukraine.

So, what does it mean for Liverpool to have this honour - and how much work has gone in to get the city ready?
