In this 10th edition of The 615 Collector and the last one for 2021, Brandon and Doug cover all of the latest news in the Halftime Report and then are joined by Stuart Turner (Doug's dad and Brandon's grandfather).  Three generations of the Turner family talk about collecting sports cards and they also chat with Stu (aka Meatloaf) about his days as a professional musician and the various celebrities that he had a chance to meet and work with during his career.  It's a fun show and a great way to end the year.

In this 9th edition of The 615 Collector, Brandon and Doug provide a quick follow up on their card grading 101 from the last episode and then jump into an interview with former NFL player Chad Cota.  Chad played 8 years in the NFL, 3 with the Carolina Panthers, 1 with the New Orleans Saints, 3 with the Indianapolis Colts and 1 with the St. Louis Rams.  Chad was named to the Carolina Panthers 10 Year Anniversary Team and his interception against the Pittsburgh Steelers to clinch the NFC West Division title is named as the 10th most memorable play in Carolina Panthers history.  Chad played for many great coaches including Mike Ditka, Dom Capers, Jim Mora, Mike Martz, and Vic Fangio.  He also played with and against many great players such as Peyton Manning, Kevin Greene, Kurt Warner, Shannon Sharpe, Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens and Brett Favre.  Chad accumulated 15 interceptions in his career (3 in the playoffs) including a couple against QB greats such as Steve Young and Troy Aikman.  Fun fact...Chad was one of only 11 players to start on defense against Tom Brady in his first NFL start.

In this lucky number 7 edition of The 615 Collector, Doug and Brandon cover all of the latest hobby news in the Halftime Report (and there was a lot of it this week, including the MLB lockout and PSA's acquisition of Card Ladder).  That is followed by some Film Study where they discuss some athletes to watch in the upcoming Winter Olympics (including some of the cards of those athletes that they are looking to pick up) and they also cover a lot of ground on the NBA and the NFL.  After that, they drop a couple of Easter eggs in the 2-Minute Drill.

In this 6th edition of The 615 Collector, Doug and Brandon interview Tyler Hitt, who is the founder and CEO of Hybrid Grading Approach (or HGA).  HGA is a relatively new and innovative grading company for sports cards and TCG cards.  Tyler talks about what led him to the idea of starting a new grading company as well as the philosophy he has installed at the firm.  He also talks about some of the challenges they faced as they've experienced rapid growth in a short amount of time.  Then they discuss a number of developments the company recently announced as well as a couple of developments that hadn't been announced prior to this interview.  The interview then wraps up with a little fun as they play a game that Brandon came up with to test their knowledge of player names.

In this 5th edition of The 615 Collector, Doug and Brandon cover all of the latest hobby news in the Halftime Report.  That is followed by some Film Study where they cover a lot of ground on the NBA and the NFL.  Then they have a little fun with a game they call, "pronounce that name!".  After that, they cover a few basketball and hockey players in the 2-Minute Drill and then have a follow up to the special segment from the last show with their thoughts and reactions to the Josh Luber report titled, "trading cards are cool again".  The show then wraps up with the Mailbag where they answer questions from listeners of the show.
