Following an offseason that saw many teams in the NFL improve, including teams in their own division, with The Miami Dolphins acquiring Tyreek Hill, and the Buffalo Bills signing Von Miller, The New England Patriots are in a spot where they have not been in over 2 decades, an extended period of time not being the top team in the AFC.

With a quite than normal offseason and the 2022 NFL Draft rapidly approaching, we are joined by the lead Patriots beat writer for the Boston Herald, Karen Guregian, to break down the offseason and Patriots draft needs, what's going on with the Patriots coaching staff, if Mac Jones can take the year two leap in his progression, and most importantly, will the Patriots contend for a Super Bowl title in the 2022-2023 season.

The NBA Regular Season has come to an end, and fate has determined Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and The #2 Seed Boston Celtics will take on Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and The #7 Seed Brooklyn Nets in The First Round of the NBA Playoffs.

To help break down the series, we are joined this week by Jared Weiss, Boston Celtics Writer for The Athletic.

Will Brad Stevens's first year in the Front Office and Ime Udoka's first year as Head Coach prove to be a success? Will Robert Williams return during the series as Adrian Wojnarowski reported on Wednesday was a distinct possibility? How will the TD Garden Crowd greet Kyrie after Irving's antics last year stomping The Celtics Midcourt Logo? MLB Opening Day is upon us so for Missing the Point's debut show on The 617, Mike and Ray from MTP give us a recap of the Boston Red Sox Offseason, from the loss of Eduardo Rodriguez to the return of Jackie Bradley Jr. and the signing of star second baseman Trevor Story.

They'll also cover some of the Red Sox top pending free agents in homegrown stars Xander Bogaerts and Rafael Devers, and why it is so important to keep at least one of them in Boston for the long term.

Finally, we'll give our predictions for the Red Sox 2022 Season. Will the Sox be able to compete in an always stacked AL East with a retooled Yankees lineup featuring former MVP Josh Donaldson? Or the Toronto Bule Jays after with a loaded rotation of Jose Berrios and Kevin Gausman, and don't forget about AL MVP runner-up Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Will the Red Sox potentially historic offense be able to keep up with a pitching rotation and bullpen that have question makes all around it?
