When listing the men who were with him when he wrote his letter to Philemon, the Apostle Paul mentions Demas. Demas worked with Paul for many years, but deserted him at the end. He is a warning for all of us in this beautiful story of restoration, as Pastor Cameron reminds us in today's episode.

We all owed a debt we could not pay, but Jesus paid that debt at the cross so that we can have eternal life! Join Pastor Cameron as he looks at a Gospel parallel in the book of Philemon, where Paul offered to pay Onesimus' debt. 

Pastor Cameron looks at the Apostle Paul's offer to repay what Onesimus had stolen from Philemon. With true repentance, there is always the offer of restitution! If we refuse to make amends for our wrongdoing, it shows we have not really repented. 

Paul asked Philemon to treat Onesimus with the same kindness and honor he would treat Paul with - it was an extraordinary request! On today's episode, Pastor Cameron reminds us that the Golden Rule is not just for pastors and teachers to enjoy, but we should treat all of God's people with extreme honor and kindness.
