On today's 4th of July podcast, Pastor Cameron looks at the story of Jesus healing Blind Bartimaeus.  The desperation in Bartimaeus' heart captured Jesus' compassion, and His compassion unlocked His power!  We see this principle over and over in the Gospels - our desperation leads to Jesus' compassion, which unlocks miracles!  Let's bring our desperation to Him and believe that He will give us the healing we long for.

In the time of Jesus, leprosy was the most feared disease on earth - lepers were considered untouchable and were shunned by society.  However, Jesus reached out and touched the leper and completely healed Him!  His compassion caused him to reach past societal boundaries and bring healing to all those who came to Him in desperation.  On today's episode, Pastor Cameron encourages us to remember that we can carry God's healing power into any situation.
