The 8 Minute Devotion

Merry Christmas from The 8 Minute Devotion! On our final episode before Christmas, Pastor Cameron considers lessons from "The Miracle on 34th Street". Our Father is the ultimate Gift-giver who generously supplies for His people!

On today's episode, Pastor Cameron looks at how the Lord chooses forgotten people. He doesn't choose as man chooses, but chooses the weak that He may exchange it for His strength!

On today's episode, Pastor Cameron starts looking at lessons from a third Christmas movie "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Just as Charlie Brown chose a tree that others had forgotten, so God chooses places that the world would overlook!

When we are at our lowest, God is at His nearest. Join Pastor Cameron as he reminds us that the Lord is near the brokenhearted, even during this challenging season.

During the Christmas season, we often miss those who have left us. But as Pastor Cameron encourages us today, an assured future is coming when all of us who are in the faith will be reunited in the glorious presence of the Lord!

Immanuel, God is with us! Jesus left His heavenly home so that His followers never have to be "Home Alone", as Pastor Cameron shares with us as we start looking at our second Christmas movie in this series.

Serving others is a pathway to joy, even as we see illustrated in the movie "It's a Wonderful Life." When we live for ourselves, the ending is sorrow, but when we live for others we experience fulness of life.

Join Pastor Cameron as he discusses the need for Christian community in order to experience the full life God has for us. In this Christmas season, we should draw near to other believers instead of pulling away.

Join Pastor Cameron as we see the wonderful life that comes from being in the presence of God. There is joy in His presence, during every season!

Pastor Cameron introduces us to a new Christmas series on today's podcast. It really is a wonderful life, because Jesus left His heavenly home to step into our world!
