In the cultural world of the 1980s, brand names we recognzie, even those we love to this day, were seemingly everywhere. Whether it was shopping for toys, going out to eat at restaurants, viewing television and movies, or wearing the rad clothes and accessories. The name brands of prodcuts still to this day bring back the nostalgic feeling that makes the '80s so special. So in this episode, host CW Sloan is joined by returning guests Big Mike and The Good Dean to discuss which product/brand was the most influential of the 1980s. Companies such as Atari, Nintendo, Sony and Commodore in the tech world. Clothing such as Nike, Swatch, and Members Only scream the 1980s. Entertainment such as MTV and Nickelodeon were a part of the 80s fabric that shaped how we viewed televison. Even restaurants such as McDonalds and Pizza Hut make us go back in time when we played on the playground or stared at the red Tiffany lamps. This podcast has it all!! We will use our typical tournament style bracket to ultimately decide which name brand was the greatest of the 1980s.
