In this episode Queen Nina gets a quick lesson on how James Brown created funk. Anthony hates the holidays, but we discover it may be due to some childhood trauma. Despite their anniversary being tomorrow, Anthony still hasn’t bought his wife a gift, but he's cocksure about his gift buying skills, and boastfully believes that he is the best gift giver out of all his friends. Nina, on the other hand, doesn’t give gifts, but instead prefers to give memorable experiences (like getting drunk and going bowling - or something!). Why do women celebrate their birthday throughout the entire month? It’s like for them it’s more than just a holiday, but a “holimonth”. (Nina even lost a job because they disagreed with her excessive and extravagant personal celebration policy). Anthony has never had a big celebration on his birthday, and perhaps that's one of the reasons he hates holidays (other than the fact that they’re mandatory), but his long-time wish would be to go on a 21 day cruise with close friends. Can guys even compliment women anymore? The woman can accept it as much as she wants to, up until the point she doesn’t accept it anymore, but she needs to let the man know if she’s uncomfortable.
