The Korean K League 1 has begun. The Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga restarts may have hit a snag following a positive test. La Liga hopes to restart in a month. Players in Ligue 1 may go on strike to prevent relegation. FIFA approves a temporary substitution policy. I'm finally going to try to develop some football skills, and I'm still doing OK in FIFA 20!

With the French football season ending, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Lorient are the champions Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, respectively. Juventus has recalled their players that have isolated overseas. In Spain, La Liga plans to have the season resume next month. Could all of this lead to the often discussed "European Super League"? How possible is it that the majority of European leagues will move to a Spring to Winter schedule?

Many of the leagues in Europe are finally beginning to decide how they will conclude the 2019-20 season. FIFA hopes to change the number of substitutes allowed each match. I'm trying to take this time to expand my football knowledge a little. There is a lot of football history that I still don't know about. There are great teams that I've never seen play and as well as several historic events that have taken place around the game. Leagues are starting to decide how to finish their seasons. UEFA is threatening leagues with penalties for not finishing their seasons. Teams are beginning to furlough non-playing staff members, while others are continuing to pay them full wages. Serie A has come up with a wage payment arrangement with the players, after Juventus decided their own way to proceed. Some German clubs are at risk of insolvency. And one of football's best coach's losing a family member to COVID-19.
