The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office is home to a task force dedicated to apprehending fugitives residing in or traveling through Lancaster County. In coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service, Lincoln Police Department, and other law enforcement partners, the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force seeks fugitives wherever they may be hiding. The Nebraska State Patrol (NSP) assigns investigators to prevent pharmaceutical diversion across Nebraska.
