Mark Holste was a staple in Fresno radio for more than a quarter of a decade doing traffic at KMJ but he spent a large portion of his career as a DJ from Oregon all the way to Ventura, CA. Aaron, Dale, and Mark reminisce about their times together at KMJ, how Mark got into radio, and the trio laugh about certain...management styles in the industry.

In this episode of The Aaron and Dale Show, Aaron and Dale bounce from the absurd to the alarming as they unpack the week’s biggest stories in Fresno and beyond. They kick things off with a look at how AI is helping students cheat—and what that means for the future of education—before diving into the wild world of modern finance, questioning why 50-year mortgages and 15-year car loans are suddenly becoming “normal.”

From there, the guys break down a string of local headlines, including a parade crash and the bizarre arrest of a teen who pointed a laser at a police helicopter. They also slice into the local media landscape, calling out some of the reporting quirks that caught their attention this week.

The episode rounds out with some classic Aaron-and-Dale flavor: a rant about MSG and aspartame sneaking into favorite sodas, plus a nostalgic trip to long-forgotten Fresno storefronts—like the original open-air Manchester Center.
