...Part 2 of our recap celebratioon, as Dave, Ci and Dan look back at Super Finals Verona, and the men's final.  Where the for the first time, in both their and Polish club history, Grupa Azoty KĘDZIERZYN KOŹLE (ZAKSA) triumphed with the CEV Champions League Volley title following a four-set victory over three-time winners TRENTINO Itas of Italy.

Dave, Ci and Dan take some time to look back at Super Finals Verona, and in particular the women's final which saw a thrilling tie-break win for A. Carraro Imoco CONEGLIANO against VakifBank ISTANBUL to secure the first ever European title for the Italian side.  Imoco came back from a set down twice during Saturday’s Super Final at the AGSM Forum and from a four-point deficit in the fifth set to triumph victorious.

TRENTINO Itas take to the court for the CEV Champions League Volley 2021 final in Verona this week and a new face in their team this season is Ricardo Lucarelli SANTOS DE SOUZA who has starred for Brazil for nearly decade and has carried on that fine form with the Italian giants this season.

He talks with Dave and Ci chat about the season that has gone, looking at how he has settled in Italy, how Trentino are now fully focused on ending the season on a high, and his thoughts about a massive summer with the National Team.

27 year old Wilfredo Leon is a volleyball prodigy, playing a leading role in the world championships at just 17 years old and dominating the world of club volleyball in the decade after with Zenit Kazan and Perugia. Having coached at VakifBank ISTANBUL since 2008, Giovanni Guidetti has built the foundations for all of their recent successes and 2021 is looking like another promising year for the team who play in yellow.  The outspoken Italian joins Dave and Ci for this episode as they look back at the first matches in the Quarter-Finals, as well as chatting about Ci’s adventures so far in Dallas as part of the Athletes Unlimited league.

The lady with the giant leap, Krystal Rivers, joins the podcast on the eve of departing for Kaliningrad for her sides second tournament in the Champions League where there is a spot in the quarter-finals on the line for Allianz MTV STUTTGART.

Maveric and powerhouse outside hitter Salvador Hidalgo is a man of the world, having been born in Russia, brought up in Cuba and with a career on the court in leagues such as Poland, Germany, China, Lebanon and now Turkey.

Dave and Ci find out more prior to his current club Fenerbahçe HDI ISTANBUL taking to the court at the end of the month for the 2nd tournament in Champions League's Pool A.
