In the prequel trilogy, Yoda and Mace Windu discussed the idea of the Jedi's powers being diminshed. Could it be because the Jedi Temple on Coruscant was built over a Sith Shrine? And Jedi were inside it at least as recently as 100 years before The Acolyte series? Punch it!
