The Acolyte is the new Star Wars series streaming on Disney+. Helmed by Leslye Headland of Russian Doll, the series gives us our first depiction of the High Republic era of Star Wars in live action. Set 100 years prior to the prequel trilogy, it's a standalone story well suited for new viewers. The ensemble cast features Dafne Keen, Manny Jacinto, Lee Jung-jae of Squid Game, with Amandla Stenberg taking on a fascinating role at the lead.
