Starring Loren Avedon as a rouge cop who goes undercover in Thailand to take down a snuff movie ring and to take vengeance on  Khan (Billy Blanks) the man who killed his brother years ago. This is the perfect example of a film that is so bad its good. The who film is on YouTube and is definitely worth your time.

Next time Jade and Chris will go head to head as we talk about Bullet to the Head. One likes it….. the other not so much. Can you you guess which ones which?

Yes we’re back again and we’re talking about a film I remember enjoying watching on the TV. Now not so much. Directed by David Jackson, Death Train features Pierce Brosnan and Patrick Stewart as they try and stop a runaway train that’s armed with a nuclear weapon. Also know as Detonator, it also stars Alexandra Paul, Ted Levine and Christopher Lee.

Apart from Jade’s lukewarm reaction we also get a huge rant on Escape Plan not getting shown in Austrailia. It’s  epic and very angry so enjoy.

We are back after a bit of a break but Chris Byrne (@CinemaTronix) and Jade Lindley (@CelluloidAK) are back and we’re all about John Woo and Chow Yun Fat in 1992’s Hard Boiled. A very rambly episode this week as we discuss one of the best  action films ever made. Based on a true story, the muscles from Brussels plays Frank Dux an American martial artist who runs away from the army to enter a underground martial arts tournament In Hong Kong called The Kumite, where he must take part and uphold his master’s honor.

We kick things off in appropriate fashion with Sylvester Stallone‘s answer to Commando. A power house 80’s action fest that’s not afraid to embrace all the tropes of the action movie. Loosely based on the novel Fair Game by Paula Gosling, it’s directed by George P. Cosmatos  in 1986 it stars Sly as a  maverick cop Marion “Cobra” Cobretti who signs on the case of The Night Slasher (Brian Thompson) who’s out to tie up a loose end after being spotted in the act by a model (a very feminine Brigitte Nielsen).
