This week we dive deep into anxiety! Specifically, holiday anxiety, but everything I share in the episode can totally be applied to any experience with anxiety.
The few days leading up to Thanksgiving, I found myself sliding into some old habits.
I was cranky and irritable, snapping at my kids, yelling at my husband, and just generally feeling super out of whack. When I sat with the feelings, I realized what was going on - I was replaying over and over again in my head all the things that "could" happen over the next few days.
The conversations I might be faced with.
The interactions I could have to have.
The expectations I would most certainly fail to meet.
And all of it was creating a crippling sense of anxiety that was impacting every area of my life. I even cancelled a call with a new potential business partner just so I could get my shit together.
Long story long, this week's episode is all about helping us all understand how anxiety can actually be a good thing. I also share the 3 things I've been doing to really help me heal my own anxiety and use it to my advantage.
