Many Christians are under the illusion that they can passively receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. God flows to the whole of His creation on a subconscious level to constitute their existence. This does not require their cooperation or the involvement of their “will”. However, for God to dwell in our will for us to receive His great treasures, we must actively engage our will and understanding. The former does not make one alive, but the latter does.
In the message, “The Active Christian Life”, Pastor Andrews Krampah describes what it takes to journey from hope to the place of faith. He explains why we cannot receive anything from the Lord without our active involvement.
This message shows why many Christians do not receive the Lord’s promise and gives the blueprint to receive the promise given by the Word.
