Marina lost 140 lbs.  At 16 she was hit by a car which caused her to be inactive for a while. During the first year after the accident she gained 100 lbs.  When she went back to school she got a lot of negative reactions from her peers because of her weight gain.  But even though she had gained a lot of weight it didn't really bother her.  She focused on school and college.  Then one day, her mother made her go to a gastric bypass consultation and they described to her how they were going to reroute her insides.  After that consultation she knew she didn't need major surgery to lose weight, just some hard work and that lit the fire under her.  The reason inside of her changed from losing weight for everyone else to losing weight for herself.

Daniela Lost over 200 lbs. As a child, her parents went through a difficult divorce which left her alone and turning to food for comfort. After the divorce her caregiver started to molest Daniela and she retreated to food even more. At 17 she got pregnant and had a beautiful baby boy. But the pressures of being a new mother along with the abuse started to catch up with her and she ended up in a psych ward. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD. But she was able to start recovering and started to focus on healing herself. Her drive to be there for her son pushed her to lose over 200 lbs and rebuild her life.

Danaka lost 113 Lbs. She Grew up as a chubby kid but then in high school started to slim out, but she didn't do it in a healthy way.  She withheld food and basically starved herself.  In college everything changed, and she really stared to put on weight.  She was a triple major and used food to deal with the stress. This is Kayte, she lost 85 lbs. She grew up as a meat and potatoes kind of girl. She was always a little on the chunky side but never considered herself overweight. Negin lost 74 lbs. It wasn’t the first time she lost weight. 3 times before she lost lost 45lbs through various diets but always gained the weight back. But this time it was different. She lost her father to a heart attack which was a complication of his diabetes. He was only 52. After that happened she knew she had to change. So this time Negin didn’t diet, she did a whole life style overhaul. She changed her relationship with food, and started to work on controlling her binge eating disorder.
