  • George Ketsios- Gives Insight On The Commercial Casting Process

    George Ketsios is a born and bred Chicagoan, who built a thriving  career in the Chicago theatre community before relocating to Los Angeles  to enjoy great success as an actor in television and film.  His most  notable guest starring roles include LethalWeapon, Insecure, Grimm, Lady  Dynamite, Scandal, Shameless and NCIS:LA and a long list of other  acting roles.  In the Voice Over community, he has voiced the character "Moloch" on the FOX television show Sleepy Hollow for 3  seasons and the role of "Bob of Tulum" in the upcoming comedy  podcast Soul Full of It. 


    His work as a director includes several  short films and is currently in pre-production for pilot that he's  written and will direct. Just closed the SouthCoast Repertory Theatre  production of Photograph 51 in which he was the lead role and played to  sold out audiences and solid reviews. George lives in Silverlake with  his wife Sharon and his son Leo.

    Anthony Alabi is a multi-talented actor and former NFL lineman for the Miami Dolphins. Hard work and passion are what drives him in his pursuits of acting, writing and performing. That dedication is now paying off. Alabi can be seen starring in his first leading male role opposite Tia Mowry and Loretta Devine in the new Netflix comedy series “Family Reunion." His other television acting credits include a recurring role on Amazon Prime Video’s “Bosch” as well as guest starring on shows such as CBS’ “NCIS,” HBO’s “Insecure,” ABC’s “Modern Family” and Fox’s “The Mick.”

    To pursue his acting career, Anthony moved to Los Angeles in 2010 after retiring from the NFL. He fully immersed himself in studying and training both in drama and comedy before even looking for representation. Alabi has built a reputation as having a knack for comedic timing, while expressing vulnerability in dramas, rarely seen in a man his size.

    Alabi is also a writer and has built a library of comedy and drama scripts. His signature as a writer is creating a relatable world with a touch of absurdism. Anthony has produced many comedic digital sketches that can be seen online under the banner “Mudda Sucka.”

    Alabi is originally from the great state of Texas and went to TCU for college. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Caroline, two kids, Ande and Axton and their cock-a-poo, Watson.

    Kelcy is a proud Chicago Native! She started training in ballet at a  young age where she quickly discovered her passion for performing. In  middle school she joined the famous Chicago Children Choir, which  allowed her to find her voice. Throughout her years she became an artist  finding passion in all forms, studying acting, singing, and dancing.  This would land her studying acting and musical theatre at the  University of Michigan. After graduation she moved to NYC to hit the  pavement and make her dreams a reality. Since moving to the city she has  performed in numerous national tours, major regional theaters, and  finished a run in her 2nd Broadway show Chicago the Musical where she  played Annie. She currently can be seen on FOX in the hit show  GOTHAM where she plays Detective  Vanessa Jamie Harper. In spring of  2018 she appeared as Jacintha in AMC summer hit DIETLAND Most recently  she played the role of Debbie Allen in FX’s hit mini series  Fosse/Verdon!   • Lilia Luciano- The Other Side of Filmmaking With A Documentary Film Director & Investigative Journalist

    Lilia Luciano is an award-winning investigative journalist,  documentary film director, producer, and public speaker. Luciano has a  unique style of reporting that was developed over a decade of video  storytelling.


    As the chief investigative  correspondent of Border Live on Discovery Channel, she gathered and told  stories of people who live, work and survive along the U.S.-Mexico  border.  Her documentary Puerto Rico Rises, which she directed and  produced for ABC Sacramento, earned her a regional Emmy Award. Her  coverage of the Northern California Wildfires of 2018 received a  regional Emmy and an Edward R. Murrow Award for Continuous Coverage. In  2013 Luciano was also awarded a GLAAD award for her coverage of  homophobia in U.S. Hispanic media. 

    She is the  director and producer of Wars of Others, an HBO Latino film about the  social, environmental, health and security consequences of the war on  drugs in Colombia. She also worked as a host on several VICE platforms,  including VICE News, VICELAND and Munchies. She is the founder of  CoInspire, a video and event platform that explores values of  entrepreneurship.

    Luciano sits on the Advisory  Board of the United Nations Foundation's Girl Up campaign to promote  access to quality education and the well-being of girls worldwide. She  has been a speaker and moderator at multiple conferences around the  world, including The Oslo Freedom Forum, TEDx, Nexus Global Youth  Summit, DENT and SIME.

    As a national NBC News  correspondent, reporting in both English and Spanish, Luciano led  coverage of a number of high-profile news stories and reported for NBC  Nightly News, The Today Show, MSNBC, The Weather Channel, CNBC and  Telemundo.

    Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Luciano is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

    She  graduated from the University of Miami with degrees in Economics and  Broadcast Journalism. She previously attended Tufts University until  2003, when she made her transition from pre-med studies to journalism.

  • Jane Drake Brody- Master Teacher, Coach & Author, Talks About The Art Of Acting & The Business Of Acting

    Jane Drake Brody’s achievements encompass a life of dealing with  the Art, Science and Business of Acting.  From directing (and costuming)  Bye Bye, Birdie! at age sixteen in high school, to the recent  publication of two landmark books; "The Actor’s Business Plan" and  "Acting, Archetype and Neuroscience", she has literally transformed the  lives and careers of thousands of actors. 


    After working as an  actor, agent, director, costumer, and producer, her life’s journey took a  determined step forward when she studied with and served as assistant  to Michael Shurtleff, author of the precedent-setting actor’s bible,  Audition. That relationship brought about the founding of Acting Studio  Chicago (neè The Audition Centre) in 1981 and PR Casting (neè Jane Brody  Casting) in 1984. 


    Leaving those thriving enterprises in the late  90s, she earned her MFA while teaching at Illinois State University. She  then headed up Undergraduate Acting at Louisiana State followed by  teaching undergrads and grads at DePaul’s Theatre School Conservatory.  Along the way she has been an actor in film, TV and commercials, won  awards for casting (Casting Society of America for Fargo) and acting (LA  Weekly’s Best Actress Award for Absent Friends). 


    Now, despite her  “retirement” she continues to teach workshops, classes and private  coaching based on her scrutiny of existing acting theory merged with her  innovative research into neuroscience and archetype.
