In this episode of The Adjutants Lounge, I'm joined by Dr Philip Blood OC G(J)4, and snazzy shirts to discuss wartime Locomotives, the importance of rail power for the movement of troops, on all sides. In this episode, I'm joined by OC French Det (Gary) and the newly promoted OC Research (Nick) to discuss Nicks recent battlefield tour of Normandy following the route of the Canadian, Poles and British troops away from the beachhead and towards Falaise. Gary shares his experiences of leading a tour, and how they can benefit the re-enacting community. We also look at their relevance as part of a staff ride in the 21st century.
