The mystery deepens as Jandy, the bumbling scrivener, is discovered, dying again and again in the quicksand pits outside of Deadmill. Sparrow risks entry into the old mill and saves Jandy, who flees into a stand of trees, convinced they are a group of brigands ready to rob him. Earning his trust, Sparrow leads him out to greet the rest of the party. Will he provide answers or questions?
