What if fear isn't something you're meant to avoid, but something that's pointing you toward the life you're meant to live?
In this episode, I sit down with Lynda Sunshine West for a heartfelt conversation about fear, healing, and the incredible power of sharing our stories.
Lynda opens up about growing up in an abusive home, how those early experiences shaped decades of people pleasing and self-doubt, and the life-changing decision she made at 51 to face one fear every single day for an entire year. That journey didn't just transform her relationship with fear. It ultimately led her to help hundreds of others bring their own stories into the world through publishing.
We also explore what happens after you write the book. The vulnerability of letting people read your story, why so many of us seek validation from others before trusting ourselves, and how sharing our experiences can become part of our own healing while helping someone else feel less alone.
Whether you've been dreaming about writing a book, struggling with self-doubt, or simply looking for the courage to take the next step in your own life, this conversation is a beautiful reminder that your story has value, and someone out there may need to hear it.
In this episode, we discuss:

Fear may be part of the adventure, but it doesn't have to write the ending.

Sometimes life has a way of changing the plan for us. In this episode, I sit down with Mo Lang, who spent more than 25 years in corporate sales and leadership before a cancer scare, multiple layoffs, and a major shift in perspective led her into a very different chapter.
Today, Mo lives in Teton Valley, Idaho, where she created Paws & Claws Concierge, a relationship-driven business centered around animals, nature, and connection.
And then there was Ash. A 100-pound rescue dog who showed up during one of the hardest seasons of Mo's life and became part of her healing, her family, and maybe even a little bit of her next chapter.
We talk about what happens when the life you've built no longer feels like the life you want, and what it looks like to start listening to your heart instead of always leading with your head. We also talk about midlife reinvention, burnout, asking for help, learning to receive, and the unexpected ways animals can help us reconnect with ourselves.
In this episode, we talked about:
Connect with Mo:
What if the thing you thought was a detour is actually the thing leading you toward your next chapter?
Maybe the adventure isn't always about making the plan.
Maybe it's about being willing to follow where life, and sometimes a very large dog, leads you.
Adventure on.

What if your home has been speaking to you all along?
In this episode, I sit down with transformational coach and feng shui practitioner Elizabeth Armistead to explore how the spaces we live in often mirror what's happening beneath the surface. While many people think feng shui is simply about furniture placement or decluttering, Elizabeth shares a much deeper perspective. Our homes can reveal where we're holding onto old stories, where energy has become stagnant, and where we're being invited into our next chapter.
We also talk about navigating life transitions, honoring grief instead of rushing through it, and how creating intentional spaces can help us reconnect with ourselves. Whether you're moving into a new home, considering a major life change, or simply feeling called to create more peace in your everyday environment, this conversation offers a beautiful reminder that transformation often begins much closer than we think.
In this episode, we explore:

Sometimes the changes we're searching for don't begin with a new plan. They begin with paying attention. Our homes, our habits, and even the things we've been holding onto may be quietly inviting us to let go, make space, and step into the next version of ourselves with greater intention.

What if getting organized isn't really about having a perfectly tidy home? What if it's about creating space for the life you're growing into? In this thoughtful conversation, Cat sits down with Lisa Woodruff, founder and CEO of Organize 365, to explore how organization can help us move through life's transitions with more clarity, ease, and intention.
Together, they talk about why organization is a skill anyone can learn, how clutter often reflects the seasons we're still holding onto, and why letting go doesn't have to be rushed. Lisa also shares practical ways to build systems that work for your unique life, whether you're managing a busy household, navigating ADHD, or simply looking to reduce the mental load of everyday living.
If you've ever felt overwhelmed by your home, your schedule, or all the things you're carrying, this conversation is a reminder that you don't have to do it perfectly. Sometimes, creating a little more space is the first step toward your next adventure.
In this episode, we discuss:

As we honor Labor Day and all the hard work and dedication it takes for each of us to show up to work, as individuals, as workers, and as members of our respective countries, we want to take a moment to honor one lady who shed light on "working 9 to 5" and so much more. Here's to Dolly, may she R.I.P.
Sometimes the people who touch our lives most deeply leave us with something that has nothing to do with what they accomplished, and everything to do with how they made us feel.
In this episode, I reflect on Dolly Parton's light, humor, generosity, and the beautiful paradox of becoming someone so much bigger than the persona the world sees. We explore authenticity, self expression, trusting our inner knowing, and what it means to keep showing up and sharing our light.
In this episode:
A reflection to take with you:
What would it look like to stop making yourself smaller and start showing up more fully as the person you know yourself to be?
And maybe, when you're not sure what to do next, ask yourself: What would Dolly do?
The world needs the light that only you can bring.
Adventure on.

What if life’s hardest transitions are not interruptions… but invitations?
In this episode, I sit down with my longtime friend, Jenny Cornejo, founder of Wildflower Transformation, for a conversation that feels both grounding and expansive.
Jenny’s work began through organizing physical spaces, but over time she discovered that true transformation often starts beneath the surface. Together, we explore what happens when we stop trying to control the unknown and begin trusting ourselves through change.
We talk about life transitions, grief, community, nervous system awareness, ritual, women gathering in circle, and the quiet wisdom that lives in our bodies.
Jenny also shares stories from her recent visit to Teton Valley, including riding horses through snow, blessing the land, and reflecting on loss, ancestry, and what it means to stay open to mystery.
If you are standing in a threshold season of life, this conversation is a reminder that you do not need to rush through it.
In this episode, we explore:

As a parent, mentor, or simply someone who cares about helping others grow, it's easy to wonder what truly shapes a person's future.
In this episode, I sit down with Margot Machol Bisnow, author of Raising an Entrepreneur, to talk about what she learned after interviewing entrepreneurs from all walks of life. Her biggest takeaway? Success isn't about perfect grades or following a traditional path. It's about having someone who believes in you, encourages your passions, and helps you learn from failure.
What I loved most about this conversation is that it isn't really about raising entrepreneurs. It's about raising people who are confident enough to trust themselves, resilient enough to adapt when life doesn't go as planned, and courageous enough to pursue what truly lights them up. We also explore how parents can shift from trying to create the "perfect" path to helping their children discover their own. Margot shares why embracing mistakes, finding meaningful mentors, and creating a supportive family environment can have a lasting impact long into adulthood. Whether you're raising children or reflecting on your own journey, I hope this conversation reminds you that sometimes the greatest gift we can give someone is the confidence to become who they were meant to be.

Sometimes the adventure is not about going somewhere new. Sometimes it is about being willing to see something differently.
This summer has brought me a lot of change, from moving to Wyoming and starting a new chapter with our animals and our new health barn, to simply noticing how much freedom can come from letting go of old identities. Even something as simple as cutting my hair became a reminder that we are allowed to try on something new, release what no longer fits, and make room for new growth.
In this episode, I also share a story from my little corner of Idaho and Wyoming that got me thinking about something much bigger: how quickly we can fall into opposing sides, how easily we can be manipulated by clickbait and our own beliefs, and what happens when we forget there is a whole world beyond the two boxes we're being asked to choose from.
I talk about staying curious, finding humor in ourselves, letting go of rigid labels, and remembering that underneath our beliefs, opinions, roles, and identities, we are all still human. And maybe the adventure is learning how to stay connected to that truth, even when things get uncomfortable.
A few things to take with you:
Most of all, remember that you do not have to wait for the perfect circumstances to experience the adventure. It is already happening, right here, right now.
Adventure on.

Some adventures do not shout. They invite. This conversation felt like that. A gentle reminder that travel can soften us, wake us up, and bring us back to what really matters. Azdean Elmoustaquim joins me from his lived experience between Morocco and the United States, sharing how culture, language, family roots, and intentional travel can reconnect us to ourselves right where we are.
Azdean is the founder and chief travel planner of Destinations Morocco. What began as a desire to help his son stay connected to his heritage became a calling to design deeply personal journeys through Morocco. We talk about growing up Moroccan, living in Houston, and how understanding both cultures allows him to guide travelers with care, safety, and heart. From the winding medinas to desert camel rides, from language tips to invisible systems of safety, this episode is about trust, awareness, and choosing the road that changes you.
If you love meaningful adventure, nature, animals, culture, and experiences that meet you where you are, this one is for you.Takeaways
• How culture and language deepen travel experiences
• Why customized journeys matter more than checking boxes
• What safety really looks like for women and solo travelers
• The difference between the fast road and the scenic one
• How desert silence and local connection can shift perspective
