  • Ep27: Essential Leadership Qualities for Entrepreneurs, Conversation with Caesar Vulley
    Dear Afropreneurs,
    Entrepreneurs are more than just business men. They are not just interested in turning over profits but bringing about solutions to the problems they see around their communities.
    Who is a leader?
    According to the idea of transformational leadership , an effective leader is a person who does the following: Creates an inspiring vision of the future. Motivates and inspires people to engage with that vision
    An Entrepreneur is therefore a leader who looks to impart positive social change while we profit by using the resources we find around us effectively.
    We also got the chance to talk to a cool Ghanaian Social Entrepreneur, Caesar Vulley, and he shared with us his entrepreneurial journey as well as what he thought about leadership.
    What then are the essential leadership qualities an Entrepreneur should have?

    * Vision
    * A genuine interest in growing others, so that people can constantly innovate along side you.
    * Responsibility
    * Innovation
    * Can-do spirit
    * Good Communication skills
    * Resilience

    Listen to more of our conversation in the audio file below:
    P.s: We did this recording on the move, so the sound quality may have been affected.

    “the cool thing about entrepreneurship is that it becomes part of your life, you constantly want to solve problems, innovate and make things better”

  • Ep23: How to write a winning Proposal
    Whether it’s a business, project, or a different type of proposal, the goal of a proposal is pretty much the same – to convince the reader to make the choice you propose. Therefore, your proposal has to be persuasive just as with words/speaking

  • Ep22: Pass the Baton
    Unfortunately, one of the issues plaguing our continent is that we do not identify as ‘one’ and would rather succeed for ourselves, our interests, our family etc. This is one of the reasons we have failed to advance at the right pace as a continent.
    We spoke to an Ivorian Entrepreneur, Jean-Patrick Ehouma, who speaks to us extensively on his experiences and why he has made it his passion to give back to other entrepreneurs.
