The Humanity of Christ
Hebrews 2:5-18

Jesus humbled himself to be with us (2:5-9).
Jesus identified with humanity by experiencing suffering (2:10-13).
Jesus became man so the he could defeat death and Satan (2:14).
Jesus became man so that he could become the high priest, the mediator (2:15-17).
The atonement was made possible by Jesus’s faithfulness to willingly experience temptation, suffering, and death (2:18).
