The Agile Administrator

At Participate, we love Edcamps and the Edcamp Foundation! Listen in as Brad and Julie chat with Hadley Ferguson of the Edcamp Foundation, along with Frank Steele of Gulliver Schools in Florida.

Edcamps are unconferences and free to attend. Topics for sessions are determined by participants at the event, where conversation and collaboration are paramount. Educators who want to learn and collaborate are welcome!

Our friend Randy Ziegenfuss, Ed.D., superintendent at Salisbury Township School District, discusses his own thoughts on bringing experimentation and innovation into an entire school district.

Our friends at Gulliver Schools in Florida talk about their experiences experimenting in their schools, and how to pass on their love of innovation onto teachers and students.

In this episode, we dive into the importance of experimentation in schools, and why cultures of innovation are necessary for successful teachers and students. Interviews with Superintendents Bill Harrison in North Carolina and Jason Van Heukelum in Virginia.

The Agile Administrator, hosted by education gurus Brad Spirrison and Julie Keane, focuses on the highs, the lows and the craziness that surrounds being an administrator in the education field. We want to focus on the issues that matter to you all, so be sure to email us at [email protected] with any ideas, thoughts or feedback—we'd love to hear from you!
