In this episode, we meet the senior investigators behind the paper "Tumor Microbiome Diversity and Composition Influence Pancreatic Cancer Outcomes," Dr Jen Wargo and Dr Florencia McAllister. For this episode, we interviewed Dr. Rebecca Minter and discussed a range of topics around surgical training, including current and future general surgery resident education, entrustable professional activities, and applications in the field of HPB surgery. In this episode, we discussed the development of collaborative clinic trials in surgery with Dr. Marc Besselink, who has been a true leader in this effort. Dr. Besselink is the PI of multiple important trials and has led collaboratives that are conducting practice-changing trials.
