This week we're getting closer than ever to meeting our baby boy! Jerika is finally dilated, so it's starting to feel like the countdown is officially on.

This week was a little more lowkey, but it’s starting to feel like everything is getting really close.

These past couple weeks have been nonstop!!!

We went out to Vegas for the Tana Mongeau & Trisha Paytas show, then made a trip up to Salt Lake to see Alex Warren — both were honestly super good.

On top of that, we’ve been finishing up the last things we need for the baby, getting everything ready as it gets closer and closer.

And to top it all off… I just worked a 17-hour shift and I’m completely dead.

This week we had my cousin Nick back on the podcast for the first time since Episode 33 — and yeah, it got a little chaotic.

We talked about the band he’s in, a crazy hike he took out in Idaho, and somehow ended up trying a mustard-flavored soda… yeah, you can probably guess how that went.

We celebrated Jerika’s birthday, went out to eat, and finally watched the new movie Obsession — and yeah, it definitely lived up to the hype.

We also spent a full day at the lake relaxing, got a little too much sun, and I even caught a pretty solid fish.

Now we’re getting into prep mode — cleaning, organizing, and getting things ready for our baby boy.

This week was a big one — we had our baby shower and it’s really starting to feel real now.

We also got to see our baby again on ultrasound (even though he was hiding his face), and yeah… he’s measuring a little ahead and might have a big head.

Episode 90 and yeah… it’s been a week

After going fishing multiple times and catching absolutely nothing, I finally caught something… just not exactly what I’ve been chasing. The bass grind continues.

We also went out to eat, hit Rush Funplex (got scammed at first but then hit a jackpot), and watched a spooky movie that actually surprised us.

This past weekend we went on a 3-day camping trip and had a blast — and yeah, we recorded a lot of it (vlog coming soon).

We also went fishing… and now I think I’ve got the itch because I NEED to catch my first bass. We tried again later in the week and still came up short.

This week was Jerika’s first Mother’s Day, and we had a great time celebrating with family… but yeah, I might’ve taken the cheat day a little too far.
