Not everyone has the opportunity to take a buck in velvet in Alabama, but Jacob Smith did just that this year in Lawrence county that scored 161 7/8" with a piebald rack.

Not a lot of hunters hunt with their bows in Alabama during the rut, but Mitchell Watkins did and it paid off. He took a buck with 20 scorable points, and a record score of 178 2/8".
