Amal Awad is an Australian Palestinian Muslim writer. She self published her muslim chiclit novel "Courting Samira". The story of a young Muslim woman finding love in Sydney in the traditional way.

We interview her about the book, the islamic feminine identity, and the difficulties of publishing.
