My first night back at Aldergate started off odd, and isn't getting any less odd as it goes along. The power's still out, and I'm running out of candles - not a happy state for a fellow who's being haunted. Ghosts of the past, ghouls of the present, and that's even before we tackle the issue of freshly-murdered pals.

Well, nobody ever said being Vice-Chancellor would be easy. Actually, I seem to recall Baz saying exactly that, but of course Baz doesn't know that I'm on the run from rather a nasty lot of former friends-in-high-places. They won't find me here, surely? I haven't even managed to find the bathroom yet...
