Day 2, Part 1: Present Fears and Horrible Imaginings - I hate being frightened. Such an awful, useless feeling. I retract every kind word I ever spoke about things that go bump in the night; I curse them all and wish them plague, individually and as a class. Uff. Welcome back to Aldergate, eh? My first full day starts with unknown intruders and mysterious letters, and apparently ends with me cowering in my own library.
