Day 7, Part 2: The Morning Before History - The day has come at last. I didn't think I'd live to see it - and I may not live long enough to enjoy it - but here we are. It's inauguration day, and in a few short hours I shall officially become the 51st Vice-Chancellor of the University of Aldergate. Will this solve a single one of my problems? It will not. Will it give me yet more to worry about? It will. Do I have to wear a silly robe and get dragged about in the pouring rain by the dead hand of tradition? I do. Wish me luck!
