Most people spend far too much time in their heads, and in the end they have too little to show for when it comes to goal achieving or dream attaining. Why is that you may ask? Quite simply because our heads can certainly be our worst enemies. The thoughts in our heads can literally stop us from pursuing something when it gets risky or dangerous, because our brains are designed to keep us safe. Therefore, in this podcast episode I will show you that it is to our advantage to pay closer attention and to listen to our hearts more often...our hearts know the way!!!

After having a difficult and very vulnerable conversation with one of my clients, my heart started burning with the desire of sharing a lesson on the importance of being who we are; accepting who we truly are, and at the same time realizing that we should be moving toward the direction of our full potential.

Great connectors apply these characteristics to relate to people at a deeper level, and they do it consistently. Is there a difference between "Communicating" and "Connecting"? Why do I ask? because most people believe there is none, and unfortunately they are not right. If you want to become a powerful vehicle of connection with anyone you meet, and if you are a speaker or trainer to powerfully and intentionally connect with your audience, I encourage you to listen to this episode.

Success can be obtained relatively easy when you focus with great intensity and desire in achieving a goal. However, sustaining success for a very long time is more challenging because it requires the consistent calibration and balance of more than one area of your life. The same principle applies if you want to live a good life; it is not the attention to one area that will do it, but a holistic approach implemented every day that will help you along the way!!!

Time is the most precious and important resource we have...why??? Because when it is gone, we cannot re-acquire it ever again. We all have the same amount of time every day, it is how we spend it that is crucial to achieving much or ending up with little. It is up to us to use it productively or squander it. Let us be mindful of the time we have and let us use it very intentionally.
