In this solo episode, I’m sharing some of the things that have been coming up for me lately—lessons around trusting myself, trusting the timing of my life, listening to my body, and learning to recognize when something is truly aligned for me.
I talk about why I believe so many of us lose touch with our own inner knowing as we move through life. We learn to people-please, follow expectations, stay in situations that no longer feel right, and look outside ourselves for validation. Eventually, our body, our emotions, and our lives can start giving us signals that something needs to change.
We talk about Human Design, desire, purpose, and timing, including how understanding your own energy and using your Strategy and Authority can help you make decisions from a place of self-trust rather than desperation or conditioning.
I share some very real examples from my own life—including my experience navigating jobs that weren’t right for me, my landscaping business, and a recent job opportunity that felt almost like the exact answer to a list I had been putting out into the universe for more than a year.
I also open up about an old journal from 2020, when I was going through one of the hardest periods of my life. I read some of what I wrote during that time and reflect on how different my life looks now. It was a powerful reminder that sometimes we are so focused on where we want to be that we forget to look back and see just how far we’ve already come.
We talk about journaling, gratitude, honoring rest and downtime, recognizing patterns, and paying attention to the signs our lives are giving us. I share why I believe writing things down can be such a powerful way to see your own growth—and how going back through my old journal showed me that I had actually created and experienced many of the things I once hoped for.
And then, because this is me, we get into being yourself—even when it doesn’t fit the version of “spiritual” you’re expected to be. I share a very real story about almost not going to a Motley Crüe concert because I wasn’t sure it fit with who I am now, only to realize how much joy, nostalgia, and aliveness came from letting myself have the experience.
At the heart of everything I’m sharing is a simple message:
Trust yourself. Listen to your body. Pay attention to what lights you up. Be patient with the timing. And don’t forget to look back at how far you’ve already come.
You may be exactly where you need to be—even if you can’t see yet how it’s all going to come together.

What if death isn’t the end—but a doorway into something we can’t fully see from this side?
In this fascinating conversation, I sit down with Dr. Wendy Thorne, a metaphysics educator, spiritual counselor, energy healer, and death doula whose life was completely transformed by a near-death experience in 1994.
Wendy takes us inside the experience of dying on the operating table—describing floating outside her body, moving through a portal toward a brilliant light, and encountering Jesus Christ, whom she experienced as an old friend. She shares the messages she received about forgiveness, her life purpose, her children, and the difficult experiences she would face after returning.
But her story didn’t end when she came back.
Her experience opened the door to a decades-long exploration of metaphysics, parapsychology, energy healing, intuition, spirit communication, and the unseen world. She shares how a book called When Spirits Touch the Red Path by Patrick Quirk became an important part of that journey and ultimately connected her with a Native American teacher who helped her develop what she describes as her clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient abilities.
We also talk about Wendy’s work as a death doula and hospice chaplain, including some incredibly moving experiences she has had while sitting with people as they transition from this life. She shares stories of loved ones appearing around the dying, family members receiving unexpected confirmations, and what she describes as the beautiful “grand reunion” that can accompany death.
Our conversation goes deeper into grief, forgiveness, estrangement, shame, intuition, and trusting what we know within ourselves. We talk about why so many of us have been conditioned to fear death, whether our loved ones may still be connected to us, and the possibility that consciousness extends far beyond what our physical senses can perceive.
Wendy also gives a beautiful introduction to metaphysics and discusses the Sacred Rose of the Heart, meditation, connecting with Source or God, spirit guides, multidimensional reality, and learning to access our own intuitive knowing rather than constantly looking outside ourselves for answers.
And, of course, we talk about Connecting Consciousness, the worldwide spiritual humanitarian organization Wendy coordinates for Utah, and how community and simply being willing to listen can open the door to completely new perspectives.
This is a conversation about death—but ultimately, it’s really a conversation about life, consciousness, forgiveness, trust, and remembering that there may be far more happening around us than we can see.
If you’ve ever wondered what happens when we die, questioned whether you’ve felt the presence of someone who has passed, experienced an intuitive “knowing,” or simply felt that there is something more to this physical existence, I think you’ll find a lot to explore here.
Come with an open mind—and see what resonates.

In this episode, I’m talking with Kristin Jensen—a classical singer, voice coach, trained life coach, ceremonial women’s circle facilitator, and the woman behind Dragon Rose Voice Studio and Kristin the Voice Witch.
Kristin and I dive into her winding, beautifully unconventional journey—from pursuing opera and studying acting in New York City to discovering the power of her voice as a tool for healing, self-expression, and transformation.
We talk about the conditioning that teaches women to judge themselves, suppress their emotions, disconnect from their bodies, and look outside themselves for answers. Kristin shares how acting helped her experience emotions like rage and grief without being consumed by them—and how learning to use her voice helped her reconnect with parts of herself she had silenced.
We also get into Human Design, intuition, the Manifesting Generator experience, following those seemingly random “bees in your bonnet,” and what happens when we stop seeing our pivots and changes as failures and start recognizing them as part of how we’re designed to move through life.
And then we go deep into the Divine Feminine, ancient feminine spirituality, feminine wisdom, and the possibility that some of what we’ve been taught to judge or suppress may actually be invitations to come home to ourselves.
This is a conversation about voice—but it’s really about coming home to yourself.
If you’ve ever felt like there was a louder, more honest, more expressive version of you underneath all the rules, expectations, perfectionism, and conditioning… this one is for you.

In this episode, Cori gets personal about the changes, questioning, and inner work she’s been moving through—and what she’s learning about trusting her own intuition in a world full of opinions, information, and outside influence.
From Human Design and conditioning to stepping away from social media, changing old habits, navigating relationships, and learning to recognize the difference between your own truth and the stories you’ve been taught to believe, this conversation is an invitation to pause and ask: What am I resisting, and why?
Cori also explores how our open Human Design centers can reveal where we’ve picked up conditioning, how inner-child patterns can influence our choices, and why sometimes the smallest step forward is all that’s needed to start changing the trajectory of your life.
Plus, a message from the Inner Temple Oracle card Chamber of Power brings the episode full circle with a reminder that you don’t need to become someone else to find your power—you need to learn how to trust and fully occupy who you already are.
If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed by outside information, or like there’s something you’re supposed to do but you keep talking yourself out of it, this episode is for you.
What are you resisting? And what might happen if you finally took the first little step?

What happens when the things that used to help us cope no longer work?
In this episode of The Aligned Lifestylist, I sit down with Amy Asay, founder of The Intentional Crescent, to talk about the journey of finding new ways to reconnect with the body, release what we’re carrying, and create space for stillness. Amy shares how her own difficult season of life led her to breathwork, energy work, and eventually polarity reflexology—a full-body practice designed to help the body relax, reset, and return to a more neutral state.
We talk about the different layers of breathwork, why you don’t have to jump into an intense emotional-release experience to benefit from it, and how slowing down can create space to actually hear ourselves again. We also explore polarity reflexology, nervous system regulation, intuition, conditioning, and the importance of intentionally making room for ourselves in lives that constantly tell us to do more. And, because this is The Aligned Lifestylist, we dive into Amy’s Human Design and how her Manifesting Generator energy and profile help explain her natural curiosity, love of learning, willingness to experiment, and ability to bring many different modalities together.
In this episode, we explore:
* Why stillness can be such a powerful part of healing
* The different types and layers of breathwork
* What polarity reflexology is and how it works
* Learning to recognize and trust your body’s signals
* Why stepping outside your comfort zone can open unexpected doors
* The connection between conditioning, self-worth, and busyness
* Amy’s journey from breathwork into energy work and polarity therapy
* How Human Design can help us understand the way we naturally learn, explore, and evolve
* Why your worth isn’t something you have to earn through productivity
This is a conversation about intentionality, curiosity, and remembering that you don’t have to become someone else to heal—you may simply need the space to hear yourself again.
Meet Amy!
Amy Asay is the founder and owner of The Intentional Crescent, a Utah-based wellness practice she launched two years ago with a simple mission: to help people breathe through overwhelm, release emotional and energetic blockages, reset the nervous system, and cultivate intentional stillness.
As a trauma-informed Breathwork facilitator and certified Polarity Therapy practitioner, Amy combines Breathwork, Polarity Therapy (full-body reflexology), and energy healing to support the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of well-being. Her approach is rooted in intentional stillness, creating a compassionate space where clients can breathe through overwhelm, reconnect with themselves, and align with their truest essence.
Through private and group sessions, workshops, retreats, corporate wellness experiences, and community events, Amy is passionate about making holistic wellness approachable and accessible. She believes that healing doesn’t have to be complicated—sometimes the most profound transformation begins with a single intentional breath and the courage to pause long enough to listen within.

If you’ve been feeling scattered, uncertain, overwhelmed, or like you suddenly don’t know what you’re doing with your life, you’re not alone. In this episode, I talk about the chaos that can come from taking in too much information, looking outside ourselves for answers, and losing connection with our own inner guidance.
We explore purpose, Human Design, nervous system regulation, and the importance of getting quiet enough to actually hear what your body and intuition are telling you. Sometimes questioning where you are isn’t a sign that you’re on the wrong path—it may be part of the process of becoming more aligned with who you’re actually meant to be.
I also share my own recent experience of feeling discombobulated, the unexpected lesson her unfinished office revealed, and why she believes there is no perfect path—only your path. The invitation in this episode is simple: stop the chaos, choose one thing, get quiet, and trust the experiment.
You are exactly where you need to be—and your purpose may be found by simply removing the things that are blocking you from yourself.

What happens when the life you want starts competing with the life you were taught you should want?
In this episode, I’m getting real about one of those moments in my own life—when old programming, expectations, and the pressure to “do it right” started making me question what I already knew deep down.
We’ll talk about why we’re so quick to look outside ourselves for answers, how conditioning can keep us stuck in patterns that no longer fit, and why sometimes the most productive thing you can do is stop, rest, get quiet, and listen.
I also share the tarot reading that gave me some much-needed clarity, along with practical ways to reconnect with yourself, regulate your nervous system, step off autopilot, create more space for your own truth, and start trusting your inner guidance again.
Because you don’t need to become someone new. You may simply need to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
In this episode, we’ll explore:
* Why your desires can feel like they’re competing with your conditioning
* How old programming can influence the choices you make today
* Why rest isn’t something you need to feel guilty about
* Simple ways to quiet the noise and reconnect with yourself
* Using Human Design to better understand your energy and decision-making
* The importance of saying no to what no longer feels right
* Why creativity, nature, movement, and meaningful connection matter
* How vulnerability can open the door to deeper relationships
* And the tarot message that reminded me to stop questioning myself
Take what resonates, leave what doesn’t—and most importantly, learn to trust yourself.

I thought I’d share this post from my private FB group…hope you gain some insights!
For centuries, we’ve lived in what Human Design calls the Cross of Planning—an era built around community, institutions, security, and relying on systems outside of ourselves. We were taught that if we followed the rules, worked hard, stayed loyal to the system, and did what everyone else was doing, we’d be taken care of. For a long time, that collective agreement worked.
But if you’ve been paying attention, you’ve probably noticed those structures aren’t feeling as stable anymore. Many people are questioning healthcare, education, government, religion, careers, and even traditional family dynamics. It’s easy to look around and think everything is falling apart. From a Human Design perspective, though, it may simply be that we’re living through one of the biggest energetic transitions humanity has experienced.
The movement toward the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix isn’t about abandoning community or becoming isolated. It’s an invitation to stop outsourcing your authority and begin reconnecting with yourself. This new era asks each of us to cultivate self-trust, personal responsibility, and authenticity. Rather than depending on external systems to tell us who we are or how we should live, we’re being called to discover our own unique design and create lives that are aligned from the inside out.
As exciting as this transition can be, it can also feel uncomfortable. Change often brings uncertainty, and many people experience this shift as anxiety, confusion, or a sense that the old ways simply aren’t working anymore. Instead of resisting the change, this may be the perfect time to ask yourself: What am I still holding onto because it feels safe? And what part of me is ready to emerge if I trust my own inner wisdom?
This conversation isn’t about fear or predicting the future. It’s about understanding why so many people feel like they’re standing between two worlds—and how learning to trust your own energetic blueprint may be one of the greatest gifts this transition has to offer.
