They were one of the first families to commit to helping launch Alinea church way back in 2020 and moved their entire family from VA to TN to embark on the crazy adventure.

Today Shawn kicks off our series “Family Matters” by addressing one of the most important commodities we have - time.

Over the past few weeks we have looked at Jesus the son of man, Jesus the son of God, and Jesus the resurrection. Today we look at Jesus the Reigning king. Kings have kingdoms. Manytimes we can think things are too good to be true. The disciples thought that about the resurrection of Jesus.

We can also look at the resurrection through rose-colored glasses and forget that it took place during a time of great distress and chaos.

In this episode we finish our conversation about the origin story of the church. How did the church evolve to look like it does today? We’ll explore the evolution of the pope, why there were crusades, and the events that led to the reformation. In the end, we learn that we may not always get it right. But the church is always the hope of the world.
