John Arroyo was born and raised in Whittier, CA. He is married to the beautiful Angel Arroyo, and they have three children. He enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1998, much to the inspiration of his family, and was assigned to Fort Bragg, NC, where he was stationed for fifteen years. He spent the majority of his enlisted service as a Green Beret, assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group, Fort Bragg, NC. In 2013, John was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Army Medical Service Corps. His previous deployments include two Afghanistan deployments and one Iraq deployment. John Arroyo is a survivor of the April 02, 2014 mass shooting on Fort Hood TX. He was treated for a gunshot wound to the neck and paralysis of the right arm at San Antonio Medical Military Center. Mr Arroyo is a dynamic speaker and trainer, serving both the military and civilian communities.
