So, in this episode I outline my plans to read Carl Jung's 'Answer to Job'.     I'll just quote from the introduction of the 2010 edition: "the overall theme of the book is how Jung regains his soul and overcomes the contemporary Malaise of spiritual alienation."     What is, if I wasn't dead on, I explained in this podcast.   Before I even opened the books, these two editions of 1952 and the 2010 edition. I'm reading privately (2010 edition) because I can't read it to/for public consumption. I'm reading the introduction to the 2010 edition and agrees, as I said above and as I do in the podcast, that I believe this is important (the book itself) to Jung's active imagination, to his philosophy, and his meaning/value lessons.

Not a modern malaise, nothing new about this Melancholia, this Trauma....
