In this episode on one of my walks I share why I find the title of my book so important the message it's meant to convey and I come up with a subtitle that attempts to deepen this lesson, this insight, rather than obfuscate truth with fancy words, long paragraphs, aphorisms. Rather go the way of Hemingway and leave only on the page what is absolutely necessary

*strong language. I discuss a theory of growth I called the Goggins effect. I would like to update it to say the effect should lead to the affect. The Goggins affect would be change that surprises and sustains. Growth or atrophy are our two choices. Maybe with three we would be, but it ain't so. Adapt and overcome is the eternal return, the flow, the zone, the modern man standing at the precipice. Potential is locked inside thanks to our poor attitudes.
