NFTs - they’re dead according to the media (again), but all you have to do is spend a little time in our space to see that NFT developments continue despite the current market.
In this Benterview, we go into detail on what’s happening in the NFT market and what Ben thinks could be interesting!

In this episode, we talked about why crypto taxes are so difficult. We covered some of the biggest misconceptions or mistakes people make when doing their crypto taxes, how to get smarter about taxes this year and in the future (e.g. tax loss harvesting) - then really enjoyed going into more detail around some of the specifics on things like: wash sale rules, NFTs taxed as collectibles, FBAR, Airdrops, Staking Income, etc.
Enjoy the episode with Micah on Crypto Taxes.

Today's interview is with Jeff Karsh, the co-founder & CEO of Streitwise, a private REIT.
Commercial Real Estate is a tricky one, spanning types like Office, Retail, Industrial, Multi-Family Apartments, Hotels, etc. In this episode we talk about Commercial Real Estate types, some potentially attractive geographies (Indianapolis) and then more detail on Streitwise itself - fees, liquidity, types of properties and value add they make to the properties themselves.
Platforms like Streitwise offer long term Investment Vehicles with Real Estate with solid cash flows, but they don’t come without their risks. This wasn’t a paid or promotional interview, I just wanted to bring on Streitwise to discuss the platform and Commercial Real Estate in more detail.

Today's interview is with Rob Price.
Bitcoin. Sound Money or just another Risk asset? Globally there is likely a Monetary Regime change coming… What we change into is anyone’s guess, but Bitcoin could (who knows… keep that in mind) be a contender.
Rob is a rational thinker here, which I appreciate, so it’s nice to have a level head when thinking about this stuff. In this episode we cover all things bitcoin, including the current market update, positioning, crypto v. bitcoin and his investment thesis.

For the full audio interview, transcript, show notes and more visit: https://altassetallocation.com/ Peter is one of those rare individuals that keeps pretty close tabs on a number of financial assets and markets. He’s my go-to guy for insight into where financial markets could be moving, and what sorts of things might be worth looking into a bit more.
Macro is tough to forecast, but I always enjoy talking to sharp thinkers like Peter to help provide a bit more clarity. Markets have a tendency to humble investors, but I still think that ideas like Peter's can provide tremendous benefits.

Today's interview is with Kris Kay - a DeFi Educator and YouTuber.
Decentralized Finance, or DeFi, is something I’ve talked a lot about on this channel. Kris is doing a lot of onboarding in DeFi - which is very hard. I run CryptoMondays here in LA and know from experience that taking someone from zero to yield farming or some more advanced DeFi concepts… not easy.
In this episode we talk about what is DeFi, why it’s important, some of the risks, onboarding newbies into DeFi and some predictions on where the space could be going. We go through a few websites on the interview, so if you’re listening on podcast, it might make more sense to jump over to YouTube for a few of these sections. In the show notes I’ve linked up all of the relevant links if you miss them during the interview - you can find them at https://altassetallocation.com
